The Technology Literacy Program

The Technology Literacy Program is designed to prepare young people between the ages of 11 and 25 for a rapidly evolving digital world. It empowers young people with the skills and knowledge needed to excel and be leaders in technology-driven careers, fostering innovation and creativity. The program focuses on introducing participants to coding, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies such as robotics, helping them develop practical skills while building their confidence to be leaders of integrity who shape the tech space.

Through hands-on sessions and seminars, participants are encouraged to explore transformative solutions for their communities, equipping them to make meaningful impacts. The program is supported by ILF-trained mentors who guide young learners to achieve their full potential.


How do we do it?

The Technology Literacy Program creates a dynamic learning environment tailored to meet the needs of students and young professionals. It is anchored on core values of innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity, ensuring participants gain a comprehensive understanding of technology. The program includes:

  • Hello World Bootcamp: An introductory course that teaches the basics of coding and robotics helps participants build their first software projects and robots.
  • Future Readiness Workshop: A one-day event where participants explore developments in technology and AI, technology-driven careers, such as artificial intelligence and software development, etc. through inspiring talks and mentorship.

The program leverages practical sessions, team projects, and mentorship to equip participants with both technical skills and problem-solving abilities, fostering a generation of tech-savvy leaders.
