The Anlo Dukor Council training, held from the 12th to 14th of October 2024, brought together facilitators and participants for impactful sessions that inspired innovation and collaboration. This transformative event was a platform for sharing insights, strategies, and ideas to foster community growth and sustainability.
One of the key outcomes of the training was the formation of two Transformation Project groups, each dedicated to enhancing the economic fortunes of the Anlo community.
Group One: Spearheading the ‘Anlo Rice’ initiative, focused on boosting local agricultural production to strengthen food security and economic resilience.
Group Two: Leading aquaculture farming ventures with a focus on shrimp, crab, tilapia, and milkfish, aiming to tap into the rich potential of aquaculture to create jobs and improve livelihoods.
We are thrilled to announce that the first stage of site visitation and feasibility studies is already underway, with promising progress being made. These initiatives underscore the dedication and visionary leadership of the Anlo Dukor Council in driving sustainable development in the region.
Congratulations to all participants and the leadership of the Anlo Dukor Council for their commitment to transforming ideas into impactful projects. Together, we are building a brighter future for the Anlo community!
