The International Leadership Foundation (ILF) Ghana, in collaboration with the Child Development Centre, New Ebu-Compassion International, hosted a transformative three-day training program from October 29–31, 2024, for Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) graduates in New Ebu, Central Region.
With 20 participants—13 JHS graduates and 7 SHS graduates—the workshop aimed to equip these young individuals with essential life skills, technological knowledge, and moral foundations to support their transition to the next phases of life.
The training sessions were designed to empower participants with a blend of personal development, moral grounding, and practical skills. Through interactive workshops, the youth explored topics such as understanding their identity and self-worth, building a foundation in morality and spirituality, and developing integrity and strong personal values. They honed teamwork abilities essential for success in academics and life, while also diving into the world of technology with an introduction to artificial intelligence and the fundamentals of effective Zoom participation. SHS graduates received additional insights into wealth creation and entrepreneurship, equipping them with tools for financial independence and business acumen. These diverse sessions provided a holistic approach to preparing the participants for the next phase of their lives.
Special Highlight
Resource Donation: ILF and partners donated dictionaries to all participants, symbolically received by Mr. Kofi Aboagye, Coordinator of Child Development Centre, New Ebu-Compassion International, to enhance their educational journey.
